The Beauty of Corrosion and Decay

I have always been drawn to the worn, dilapidated, decaying and broken.  I find beauty in corrosion- in the colors and textures of rust and peeling paint.  I find it consoling that Nature can so readily reclaim structures that we naïve humans think will be permanent.  With this series I tried to capture that transformation of the mundane into the beautiful.

Hi, Rita pie!
These are gorgeous pictures! Did you make a blurb book with them? I don't know how you get such sharp textured images, but they are wonderful.
