On the way home from CA, I decided to visit the Peter Iredale shipwreck at Fort Stevens. I arrived late in the day as the park was about to close but managed to snap a few pictures in the rain before driving the rest of the way back to Seattle!
The Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel barque sailing vessel that ran ashore October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast. Here's what it initially looked like:

California Here We Come! Part 7- The Path Back Home
Alas, all good things must come to an end. And so Zombie and I had to head back north after a several days of fun in the sun.
